Does anyone feel like they are trapped in a young person's body?

I've realised just how boring and grumpy-old I am.

My uni friends want me to hurry up with my essay, so they can take me out drinking tonight.
So, what am I doing?
I'm reading up on teaching science in KS1 and taking my time with my assignments.

...and then I complain that I don't do things for my age.

I try but I dont think my body can keep up with my desires any more. I can't party 3-4 nights a week and drink myself silly and still function at work any more. I limit it to once a week, occasionally twice.
And my knees hurt when I try and do lunges.

I think you can reach an age where age is almost immaterial. So, for example, I have a job which makes me act old and grown up when I do it, but then I go drinking and act irresponsibly. I've pretty much forgotten how old I am nowadays.

Eddie, I agree to some extent, at 35 you have the luxury of being able to do that, but now some times I hit clubs and girls who I find attractive are almost half my age. At that point it becomes a little daunting. Physically attractive anyway. But also now alot of the kids in the clubs are starting to look like kids to me.
